Mit Dir 2026

It's almost time for us to cycle together to the Mit Dir Festival. Here is some initial important information so you know what to expect on the 80 km journey.

An 80 km route is a ride for experienced cyclists; a good level of fitness is required. But don't worry—we won't be racing; the focus is on the joy of cycling and riding together. We will take plenty of breaks and look out for one another. This means we will adjust our pace to suit everyone in the group. Past experience shows that everyone makes it to the finish line ;)

We start at 10:00 AM at Erkner train station. Please meet at 9:30 AM so we can set off on time. We will be on the road for approximately 6 hours.

We will pass a supermarket after the first 30 km. You should carry enough food and water to last until then. After about 50 km, we will reach a lake where we can cool off and take a longer break. We will make one more stop at a supermarket shortly before arriving at the festival.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee luggage transport at the moment. This means you should pack your bikes in a way that allows you to ride comfortably. However, once we reach the festival, all participating cyclists have the option to purchase a small drinks package at a reduced price (sparkling wine, wine, soft drinks), and there will be a sparkling wine/orange juice reception for a quick refreshment.

To ensure we all arrive safely, you have the opportunity to get a free bike check-up at a bike shop a few days beforehand. This allows for any minor repairs—such as tire or brake adjustments—to be taken care of on the spot.

There will be a designated parking area on the festival grounds to keep the bikes safely stored.

We will post more detailed information on what to pack shortly before the event. We hope many of you will join the ride :)
